CHALLENGE

During Christmas 2022, Vodafone launched ‘Elf & Seek’: a Pokémon go style game with festive prizes up for grabs.
As Christmas 2023 approached, Vodafone wanted to capitalise on the game’s success, bringing the ‘Elf & Seek’ characters to life with a standout in-store campaign.

IDEA

We created an environment in store of rooftops and chimneys where the elves could play and cause mischief, all whilst sewing into our retail story, the sentiment of Vodafone’s atl message: Vodafone brings people joy, helping them ‘feel the connection’ with loved ones at Christmas.

We created numerous playful assets, ranging from vinyl wraps and multi-layered window installations to epic 3d builds on store fascias and two-story digital displays.

Every store had elves jumping from behind pillars, hopping over presents, pulling silly faces and dropping down chimneys into homes. Our approach positioned Vodafone as the telco brand that offers fun and excitement at Christmas, driving people into store to purchase special gifts of connectivity.

All creating shared moments of joy for people over the festive period, just like Vodafone’s products and award-winning network connection helped spark special Christmas moments of togetherness.
